Why is my chicken featherless

My Sperber chicken began getting bald patches last autumn and is now featherless on her breast and belly and is starting to loose the feathers on her legs. I have inspected her for insects and she seems very clean - and her fellow hen has only lost a few feathers around her vent. I clean the house and yard thoroughly every 2 weeks. There is no sign of pecking. Is this a nutritional deficiency? If so what. She gets fresh cabbage and blueberries, a laying hen's mix of corn and pellets, extra pellets and liver oil every day. She is still laying an egg every days and runs round the garden energetically and happily. Thanks for advice! Sue

Maybe moulting. Has she got access to grit? Feed her almost only layers pellets and grit no corn

She is most likely molting. Chickens usually start molting during autumn, and their molt may last for months or only a few days.
