One of the first things I saw when I arrived in Maui was chickens just walking around everywhere. The first ones came up to us while we sat outside and ate a hotdog at Costco. From there, we saw (and heard them-roosters crowing) everywhere. I love that chickens are allowed to roam free. Can you imagine how delicious those eggs must be! Here are videos and pics. You think Maui has a lot of chickens...? Kauai is feral chicken county of the state. Maui is civilized comparatively lol. Hey, enjoy your vaca, stay well and respectful and enjoy.
