Actually no, its just two different colors.
"The snow goose has two color plumage morphs, white (snow) or gray/blue (blue), thus the common description as "snows" and "blues."

Hi, I'm new on this thread. I took this photo (sorry for poor quality) at Hood Canal in WA state. I'm calling it the Loch Ness goose. Any ideas what breed it is? Canada goose in foreground.

If I see it again, I will. Mostly I see blue herons, Canada geese, various hawks and an owl occasionally.

I don't think your first picture was a snow goose. Does it have a canada goose mate?
