Will she lay soon?

I have seen my 7 month old Silkie pullet once laying in a nesting box and she has never layed an egg before. Does this mean she will start laying eggs soon? Thanks for any input.

She could be near laying, or she could be thinking about going broody. Some pullets will do that even before they start to lay.
