I have a bird that is about 2 years old and she started tilting her head and looks like she can't hold it up. She twists it around and makes a lot of clucking noises. I am guessing its wry neck but I'm not sure. Can anyone tell me if it is wry neck and what I can do about it?

Welcome to BYC. Wry neck can be twisted to one side, upwards, down, or in a combination. It is a neurological symptom, sometimes from a head injury, a vitamin deficiency, or a symptom of certain viruses such as Mareks, leukosis, or others. Can you post a picture of her ? Give her some poultry vitamins in her water that contain vitamin B1 thiamine, vitamin E, and a bit of egg daily for selenium, a mineral that she needs. Selenium is found in other foods, such as in tuna, and in certain nuts or seeds. Wry neck can last for days or weeks or longer, and she may need hlp a few times a day getting enough to eat or drink. Let us know how she is doing and post a picture if possible.

this is an old post, but I am experiencing this too.
