Anything I should worry about with this cold weather front coming through as far as my birds are concerned? In Statesboro. Coop is pretty locked down with nothing but the door open at this point.

Our birds are all fully feathered I asked the same question the other day and was told they will be fine. I have hopefully made our coop draft free but it still has plenty of ventilation. I am still concerned about our 6 Silkies but I will not be using any heat at this time. I'm hoping they will generate enough heat on their own.

We're tucking ours in with little electric blankets tonight. GAM read them bedtime stories and kissed them on their heads. We left a cell phone in the coop and no matter what speed dial number they hit, they'll get us.

A lady and her husband said they wanted the free rangers but they never came to help me chase them down so the free rangers are in the trees. Hopefully they won't freeze.

Actually, you can litter train a chicken. Takes a lot of time. Chickens can also learn to do tricks. You tube has lots of info on how to do it.
