When you have to drive 5 miles to get to your mail box. I've since become citified though. Now the mailbox is a mere 100 yds away but the nearest "convenience" store is 5 miles away.

When Your Ala Mater (high School) Actually Gives Out Cow Bells For Pep Rallies And Football Games Etc

When A Mysterious Goat Shows Up In Your Yard And You Immediately Know Whose It Is....... And When They Come Pick It Up.... It Gets In The Back Seat Of The Blazer......

I absolutely LOVE that I have to walk/drive 3 blocks to the post office for my local mail! Never have to stop the mail because I'm away. Never have to sort through junk mail daily. NO LINE for mailing Christmas packages---excellect service from my post master!!
