Mine have always loved zuke. Someone even thought that's how I got green eggs. Heehee.

Mine didn't eat the zucchini either, grilled for raw!

grate it and sprinkle some chic starter or mash over it... birds are suspicious of anything new...

I have discovered with zucchini, the bigger the better. They really prefer the seeds, but will eat the flesh as well. Let them get about 2 feet long and eight inches across, then try it

Warning: be careful cutting them up when they get this big, the skin is TOUGH!

I made soome stuffed zucchini last week. I gave our chicken the seeds and scooped out stuff. We had some left over and I gave it to them. They gobbled it up!!

My zucchini has been on the ground and today I found a chipmunk eating it! Oh well...sprinkled the food on too! Big stinkers!

And still NO Eggs for my 24 EE's -19 almost 20 week old chickens!

I give my chickens whole overgrown zuccini and they eat it right up. I don't make one slice into it, they have to do all the work!
