Congratulations - and hopefully you get the time to enjoy the space (and start planning the next item on the list!).

The next expense will be a sofa. I've been wanting one for a while. The fancy one I really want is completely out of budget, so I'll get a cheap n cheery one from ikea.

The slap up dinner made for a very enjoyable Tuesday evening!

Utterly thrilled!

It's not subsiding any more, which is a huge weight off my mind. And it looks very colloquial of its era. Highlighting balustrades was a thing back then.

It'll be sharpened even further by the clean up but softened by the garden and plant boxes in due course.

The dear old house has needed a new outfit for as long as I can remember.

I looked up a website that said 11C was the average low for May, so 0.5C is quite far below average.

No wonder I was so cold when I woke up!
