My Husband and I have been together 35 years, in the last 2 years he has tried to talk me into Chickens. He finally did, we are Chicken Parents. We started with 2 Swedish Flower Hens, that we named Rusty Rose, and Snow Lily on 4/28. They are about a year old, and are laying eggs for us. We picked up 4 other baby girls from Farm and Fleet on 5/5, the girls were hatched on 5/1. Ebony, Lacey, Olive, and Sunny. They have just started filling in their feathers, and tail feathers at 5/20 they are feeling rough and not so fuzzy. I have learned sooo much by reading all the posts, and love being a Chicken Momma.
