coop building gone mad!!!

after looking at our coop we realized our small cute coop is too small for our 3 feathered family members. and with the up coming chicago winter weather we worried they would not survive. so we decided a new bigger coop was in store. After hours of annoying searches on the internet i said forget it LETS BUILD OUR OUN COOP!We set a 500$ budget and a small 4x4 coop design would fit our needs and our girls. please keep in mind we have no idea what we were doing. sooooAfter 4 ENTIRE sundays and a few hours here and there, Not to mention the over over budgeted coop lol, we have finally come to the end of our coop adventure project. It still need a few tweeks here and there but it is safe to say we can move in our feathered family. They love their new coop and begun laying eggs in it. they have realized that this is their new castle

(not understated) There were tears sweat and blood shedd to build this coop. and at 5ft×6ft there is nobgetting past this baby the big bad wolf himself couldnt evn blow it down!!! not even a mouse !!!

Day 1ish: 1st trip to home depot. winging it no blue print just ideas lol...

Day 2: 3-4 trip to home depot. is there a dr and carpenter in the house. We have No idea if this is right...

Day 3: trip 4,5 10 trip to home depot. over our budget but things are looking up...

Day 4 and inbetween: 10 + trip to home depot. sweat tears and blood have been shed. we also had an inspection made!!!

Day 5ish really 4: trip 20+ to home depot. we are at the end of our project . the big bad wolf is not tearing this baby down and no mouse or rat alive could ever get into the fort knox we built.

Move in day!!!! we even got eggs...

since then locks have been fully put on all doors and broaders have been lifted and it has been fully painted....
