Lol, I was debating whether to raise rabbits for pets or meat.
There's not much of a market, where I live, for meat rabbits, so I went with pet.

I've actually been *thinking* of getting some rabbits for meat reasons..but not even sure where to start. I mean...we could go to the pet store, but I don't know where the get their animals from...so that thought isnt sitting too well with me.

I guess it's another excuse to surf Google.

I would look for a Californian, New Zealand, or a Flemish Giant breeder in your area.
Most likely they will be selling them as meat rabbits and raising them for meat themselves.
If you buy from a meat rabbit breeder they will be willing to answer your questions, that may arise, when starting this new hobby.

Aaaaaaaah so cute fluffies!! I love ny bunnies. I have two flemish giants and my fave is.my white albino bunny chops. Adore him he currently weighs 7 kilos and is an absolute beast!
