I do not actually think it IS a rooster just taking on the characteristics.

Search on here for hens turning into roosters and you'll understand. She was small with a small comb low tail normal hen. Rooster died and she grew a larger comb, larger and whiter ears, sickle feathers, crows and mounts hens and lays eggs.

No it's gross drippy green and smelly. Update: her infection is cleared up and she is back to her old ( fence hopping) self. Just ugly.

Having to give antibiotics to this sweet girl. Dog attack ! Grrrr. She's about a week out from the attack her wound is all dried up and looks good except for the green infection in her leg. Treating with shots. Just started today.

My Brahma is the family pet. She jumps coop and forages in the yard with our pit bull like buddies. She lays one egg a day and they are tiny! My kids fight to get her egg first because they think it's cute.
