I havent seen a door like that. I suppose if the chickens got used to it, it might work. I just have a simple drop door that I can use, but rarely do. With my girls inside a wire pen, and living in town, I have never worried about shutting them in at night.

Welcome, from a fellow east sider! Lots of knowledge here and a good group of people. I just joined last spring, after getting my first chicks, and the info that I've gleaned here has been a big help.

It is a decent little county fair. I have not had opportunity to show anything but have done some commercial booths there for a couple of my employers, in the past. I enjoy watching the 4-H kids show their animals however my kids never got involved in 4-H when they were growing up.
