It's definitely a Ayam not a Sumatra I know that for a fact it's got a single comb. I'll be really disappointed if that speckled one is a cockerel out of all of them that's the one I really wanted to keep!!! Can't if it's a cockerel

Does anybody know what breed the speckled chicken and brown chicken are? I know the black one it's a Ayam. I'm not 100% on there genders :-/ there all 13 weeks none have crowed

Another update! The chick has got allot better I have seen it have hardly any fits it used to have one every 10-15 mins but now the last time I whitnesed it having one was at least three days ago! It is much stronger now and has turned into a bit of a bully! So at least it's finally finding...

Update! I've checked all over the chick and all over the other chicks that are with it and there are no mites or lice of any kind so that's at least ruled that out! It's feathers are if anything becoming more and more tatty however it is preening itself I've whitnessed it doing it in multiple...

Could It be a genetic problem?? It does have epilepsy so maybe there is something else going on as well

I've had allot of chicks over the years from multiple different breeds and I've never had a chick who's feathers look like this at five weeks :-/

I've been told this is a polish frizzle. I haven't had polish chicken before but at five weeks I would expect there to be head feathers emerging but as yet there are none! Judging by the feathers however I'm sure there is some frizzle in there.

I could put him in with the ducks for a while and see how it goes. I only haven't done it yet as he is a bit temperamental :-/

Okey dokey how do I check the air cells I've never done that before? My incubator says should be 55% for the first 18 days but that seams very high!

Just a quick one but what's the ideal humidity for hatching?? I think it's between 50-60% for the first 18 days then 60-70% for the rest that right??? I only ask because I've read so many variations
