I just hatched out a batch of cream legbar eggs from my flock and this white chick cropped up. There is no way there is any strange rooster in the night - these parent chickens are totally secure in their pen. What is this and what do I do with him? Will I have more white ones in the future?

Thank you for the information. This cute little pullet is now happily residing in her new pen with a month old chick to keep her company. They are almost the same size and the Marans is about 5 months old.

Thanks for your reply. I guess this will be a wait and see chick! This is a first for me out of all the BCMs that I have hatched. Everyone needs a little mystery hatch now and then - it adds excitement to the chicken coop.
