Me and my mom rescued this hen from being neglected
And she will not stop crying :(
Her old place had a tom and lots of other hens. It’s been a 5 days now and she still hasn’t taken the hint 😷
She wasn’t super tame when we got her and has a large gash so she’s in pain but she’s on antibiotics...
Funny thing is, her vent is clean, she preens, eats fine (in fact she loves prekilled bugs I bought from distributors)
Her weight hasn’t changed too much either
So, I have the bourbon red, her name is Philbert. I’ve been worried about her recently because her stool has been far from normal. Usually it’s pretty well. Poopy, not too solid or liquid. The photos with e blood in them I realized was intestinal lining haha.
