update....still living,eating,drinking and poo is fine. Right leg still stretched out backwards and she cannot stand. she can kick her legs though when picked up.
I wonder the same thing and I think you are correct about an infection. I took a few photos and noticed some red areas. Would that make the right leg not usable as well? I put her in a chicken sling type pouch otherwise she lays on her side. The first pic is of her left foot..I think infection...

we bought this to check it out and found that on high it is very hot to the touch and will burn your hand. The instructions state otherwise. We are not sure if we are going to use this or not.
