I just got 2 kittens from someone I didn't know and they came with horribly crusty, goopy eyes! I know they were born in a barn and were kind of wild..I just want to get rid of the problem before it gets worse! Any advice on a natural remedy??? I want it gone ASAP!

Greetings! I have a question regarding how many lay boxes I should have in my coop.
So I have 22 chickens total, 2 flocks, 2 different ages.
When I first built my coop I was in a hurry to get my first batch in because they were growing so fast. I originally built 3 lay boxes and put in one...
All is well with the chicken foot! It only took a few days to heal (haven't been on in awhile to update)...and actually at this point I can't even tell which chicken had the hurt food.....all good things!
@sepaditty1 sending hope that your garden will be bountiful in the next years! This year was the first for our first large garden together...well mainly it was my boyfriends project, I have been pretty busy adding to and tending to my parents giant garden, i've definitely put in my fair share...

I have 2 different ages of hens together in the same coop. The first batch just started laying about a month ago and the second batch should begin laying here in about a month- should I continue feeding them all grower/finisher feed or should I switch to layer feed?

@Zgm12 Thanks! Have been keeping oyster shells in the coop since and haven't had any other problems with my girls! I have 2 different ages of chickens in the same coop...the first batch are laying and my 2nd batch are about a month behind the others...worried about feeding them all layer feed...
