First time hatching peachicks. Today is hatch day, only had one out of five hatch so far. Took over 24 hours after pip. Hatched 8 hours ago. Been laying there, it opens its eyes but isn't even trying to stand.

So I have done all this research in anticipation of my first peahen finally laying. Now she has laid her first egg. I know I will try and eggs over the next 10 days before starting the incubation progress. But I have read conflicting reports about whether to wash the eggs, it is a little dirty...
So my first incubating experience. Put 5 eggs in. Thought I saw something on day 10 candling. Two hatched beautiful chicks on day 21. The other 3 nothing, cracked them open and just warm soupy eggs, no chicks.
