Thank you both so much for your recommendations! I have hatched call ducks twice in the past, and am not opposed to helping when I see a duckling in trouble. The tough part is always knowing when to step in and when to wait. I will read over the article and update when something changes.

Appleyard externally popped last night but at the wrong end. I'm keeping a close eye on him but I'm letting him do his thing (for now). Fingers crossed that he sorts it out!

They're here! Totally unassisted hatched 2 call ducks, 1 Peking, and 1 buff. Were still waiting on an appleyard to start hatching but for now we're soaking up the baby cuddles.

Just to be clear, this eggs is sitting pointy side down. The albumen is still present (which it isnt in any of my other eggs when candeled).
