So I have 3 chickens, 2 new girls, about a year old, and one old girl, 9 years old. My old girl lost her best friend (same age) about 2 months ago. I have Polly, Clementine, Dolly, and Roxanne right now. Usually go with the music or old west sort of theme. Reba, Cassadee, Rosie, etc. For some reason those names always seem to fit my chickens.

Pick a theme. I have an old west bunch, Polly, Clementine, etc. and my new babies are named after country music singers, Reba, Cassidy, Madrid, etc.

Mine are themed too... country music girls this time round.

My husband told me not to name mine this time until they were mature and healthy, and he has a point because we've lost babies before. But in my head they already have names: Reba, Cassidy, Roxanne, and Maddie. I use their names when no one is looking...

I have 4 new chicks that were all sexed as female. One of them is constantly jumping up on the backs of the others. Is she just spunky, or could this be an indication that she is really a boy? Can't remember any of my other chicks doing this so consistently...

I'd love to see a listing of poultry shows by geographic area. I have had a hard time locating shows near me, but I'm sure there are many and I just don't know how or where to search for them.
