What color genetics do you think this yearling peacock has? He is from a farm that has 25-30 free range peafowl and they have no idea the genetics of them.

    all who are hatching quail

Moved 80 XLD cortunix from hatcher to brooder last night. Left 3 in hatcher that were not dried yet. This morning had another 15 in the hatcher. Having a good hatch. It will still take me a couple of more weekly hatches to catch up on chick orders.

This is just not a good year!! Sorry for your losses. The whole reason I bought the hatcher was to not have to constantly adjust the humidity when hatching in my incubator. Didn't have great hatch rates and had eggs not loosing enough weight making the air cells be to small and fat heavy...

I am so frustrated with hatching peas!!! I have 95-100% hatch rate on my turkey but terrible on the peas. The eggs are gathered, stored, incubated all the same. I sold the first three weeks of pea eggs because we had a trip planned and were going to be gone for 2 weeks. Then I saved the next 2...

    Turkey Talk for 2014

I have two royal palm toms, a royal palm hen and two blue slate hens, so more of the mixed poults than pure royal palms. Yes I also have peafowl, trying to get my waiting list for them filled. Hopefully will have more for sale next week or the next.

    Turkey Talk for 2014

Over run with poults right now. Sales have really slowed down. I have 9 six week olds, 17 one week olds and 14 out of 20 hatched in the hatcher as of this morning. 6 of the royal palms are spoken for out of the youngest ones.
