    Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thank you. It's hard to find reliable information. All the products listed as Niacinamide are marketed under the labels 'moderate release' of 'flush free' while the Niacinic Acid states 'may cause flushing'. That's where my confusion was coming from. Will it be too much if I put 100MG of...

Thank you. I have also been giving them sliced fish form the supermarket and a variety of greens. (Fish is their favorite). I tried beef liver, and they hated it!

But why is the Niacin listed in the Durvet Niacinamide, isn't that the wrong kind?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

So, I ordered both the B Complex and the Nicotinic acid tablets from Amazon. I noticed that the B3 listed in the Durvet B Complex is Niacinamide not Nicotinic acid and I will give both to be safe. TSC didn't have it in stock (surprise surprise). Thank you all for your responses!

Ok thanks for the info guys! I hope at least maybe the 2 Swedish ducks might bounce back. Their feet aren't turned all the way in like the little Khaki girl. She seems pretty happy, so I'll let her live her life as long as she isn't suffering. I'll go out and get those now.

They can paddle. The Khaki female (pic 4) walks on her joints. She's fast! She just scurries along with the rest of the flock, keeps up well, eats drinks, etc. The two injured Swedish will try to walk, but their feet still turn in, so they hobble. Goose (the cuddly one that lets me hold her...

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

I read on Metzer farms site to add 500 mg to 4 GAL of water if they spill a lot. I use human grade flush free Niacin capsules. They started having symptoms around 2 weeks and they are now 4 1/2 weeks. I caught it early and started treatment within 24 hours as suggested. They became a little...

I don't have the heart to put them down. Tried shoes, splitting, wrapping, adding nutritional yeast to food and Niacin to water at first sign of problems. 2 Weeks of treatment hasn't done any good.

    Tractor Supply mixed ducks?

I'm sorry to hear that. I have 4-week-old Khaki male from my first round. His name is Roudy. 3 of the 5 babies I got 4 weeks ago have slipped tendons and I'm still not sure what to do with them. If I have problems with these, I'll order through a hatchery. I was trying to save money, but the...

    Tractor Supply mixed ducks?

I bought 4 babies from Tractor Supply. Upon first glance it looked like I was getting 2 blue Swedish and 2 Khaki Cambell. When I got them home, I noticed that my Khaki Cambell ducks are probably actually Blue or Chocolate Runners which is fine. HOWEVER, one of my Swedish ducks is running like a...

    Chicken stopped laying

I know this is an old thread, but what type of feed are you using now? I just purchased 5 ducklings for egg laying purposes, and I want to avoid the Purina conundrum beforehand.

Thanks for the help, guys! I will look into all of my options and if anything, try ordering a Gold Star Hybrid or Peking if I can't find those. I'm looking forward to owning ducks again! My childhood duck was one of the best pets I ever owned. RIP Lucky.
