I'm so glad I was able to catch this moment. Vivienne went missing on me and I thought she was gone. Turns out, she was working on being a mama. What a fine mama she is.

I'm so thankful for everyone's opinions and advice. I had considered rehoming, because I don't need so many roosters but now I'm invested in seeing how they turn out.

Do cuckoo marans follow the same sex linked influence as the barred rocks? Anything is possible, I guess. I've never heard of the TSC getting that breed...but I guess it depends on the hatchery they outsource with. I got the spitzhaubens because the hatchery sent them to him by mistake.

I got the doms from a breeder. The "barred rocks" came from a bin at Tractor Supply. There were only two left. My friend felt sorry for them and got them. I may be able to find what they looked like when she picked them up
