    We have tree 7 month old chickens one of them is laying and we also have two 5-6 month old chickens an one of them are laying but not the other three should I be worried?

    So cute i wish i had a rooster so my hens could be able to hatch an egg THAT GREAT!! She look like a good mother I'm so exited for you

    oh thanks, the yellow one has a broken leg now so she can't find as much worms as she used to. The other four find the most. there is two more hens but the aren't in the pic. thanks!

  7. These are some of our chicks the orange ones name is Saki she's a cinnamon queen. The black one in the the background is a white faced black spanish, her name is Merna. And finally last but not least is Sadie the yellow one next to Saki, she is a buff minorca. In the pic you see Sadie doesn't have a broken toe and broken leg. How she broke it was our dog just snapped it i guess. Well. Its really sad because she scratched up so many bugs and yummy treats for herself, but now she can't scratch which is really sad :( Hope everyone likes our chicks bye now! :D

    our hen's leg is broken in two places- we think. one place is right where the leg meets the feathery part of the upper leg and also her toes are are curled and perhaps broken. she is getting around with a pronounced limp. we had thought about splinting the upper part, but the way she hobbles...

    if the feathers on their neck stand up that means their angry at each other and if not that means that they were just playing around i think
