Oh! So it's not an actual breed then?! Interesting! Well we have plenty of Heinz 57 dogs at home so why not chickens!

I purchased them through Tractor Supply's online store, they should be delivered this coming Tuesday

My coop is under construction as well, is it better to have shavings or straw as bedding? This is the design I'm going to try!

We went with "old fashioned" names like Penny, Gertrude, Gladys etc....it was lots of fun coming up with 24 of them!

So excited! We have 12 Rhodies and are anxiously awaiting our first batch of Rainbows!
