I am at a lose because MY HENS pluck her feathers right off--I am feeling really bad but they see that as different--She didn't grown up with mine--Don't know what to do

Can the feathers on a Brahamas feet be cut back ?? Trimmed off ?? I took in a Brahma hen a few weeks ago and my hens (NOT BRAHMAS) pull her feet feathers out-Notice just now they pulled some more out and blead a little--WHAT CAN I DO ?? I am thinking they are not use to feathers on the feet and...

I clean my coop and run everyday--Really a few times a day-We use sand in the coop its almost 2 inches deep and i scoop with litter scooper-- MINE HAS NOT HAD A SMELL YET !!!! In fact my chicken friends BRAG about HOW CLEAN mine is--I am sure it is easier for me I only have 5 gurls--

I just wanted to say-MY CHICKENS ARE NOT NASTY OR DIRTY-Have NEVER laid a dirty egg yet--Keep the coop and run clean and they WILL NOT be DIRTY--It is up to you how they LIVE

Thanks for all answers---It is normal for me to worry since I just got them in spring RIGHT ???? They just aren't for eggs they are my PETS now---
