update....they surely did hatch out fine (out the wrong end).

Why do I have 2 eggs pipping on the small end? 20 something other eggs are doing normal. they were all stored with big end up before incubating.

Checking on the girls this morning, one has a runny nose. Seems fine otherwise (clear eyes, moving around fine, ect.). Is this a concern?

I didn't think about it at the time, I was so concerned about her bottom. .......I felt really bad, still do. My thought was "poor girl" too.

I have a rumpless hen who I noticed as she was drinking today that she had a large buildup of poop on her backside (first time for any of my birds). For what reason, I don't know but my 7 girls and Mr. Rooster have been drinking alot the past couple of weeks. 2 gallons did last 2-3 days now every day. This started during the extreamly cold snap and even though its warmed up they're drinking habits haven't changed. ......Dunno, any insight?
