    Silkie thread!

That's what I wish I would've done... My relatives gave me 14 hatching eggs, but 6 are actually fertilized and in the incubator. I bought two roosters for future breeding, but can jot decide what color of hens to get... I am wondering if I show a trio, do they all have to be the same color?

    Broody Hen Probs

So, I have two hens that have been laying on eggs for like two weeks now. We want them to hatch eggs, but none of the eggs they are laying on are fertilized because the roo is a bantam and the hens are pretty big So, is it okay to buy some hatching eggs online? And if so, how many? TIA!

    Free Range Quail

I am wanting to start having free ranged quail. I've read that if you provide them with a return box, they will come back to it and lay their eggs. Is this true?

    Coop Issue

I don't know the measurements for my coop, but I do know that it holds up to twelve chickens. I think I am going to get another hybrid and see how it goes. Thanks, and wish me luck!

    Coop Issue

Correct! You can still eat fertilized eggs as long as you do not let it incubate or let a hen sit on it.
