Not trying to Hijack but I sell chicks, quail and rabbits frozen to a few people, I'm wondering what you that feed any of these pay for them. I only sell day old chicks and quail.

ended up housing her with the 4 day old chickens. seemed to work out good. one of the chicks chased her around the caged wanting to snuggle for 10 min. everytime the quail would stop running the chick would burry it's head under her. niether picked on each other.

I'm hatching a lot of different batches of quail and I need to combine different ages together so I need to know how to do this properly. I alreay experimented with 4 week olds and adults, that was a bad deal. So now I have 1 2 week old that I need to put somewhere, I know I can't house her with...

Tried putting 4 of the 4wk olds in a new cage with the 3 adults and after 2 hours the 4 wk olds were bloody around their heads. So I took young ones out and put them all of the 4 wk olds in the adult’s cage and put the adults in the 4wk olds cage until they get older or I can house them together...

My 3 adults are breeding and lying eggs. My young ones are in a cage directly in front of the adults cage about 3 feet away so they have seen them for 3 weeks now. They are brown cornitex (or however you spell it)

I have some 4 week olds and need to know when I can put them in with the adults. The adults are in a 7.5 cubic foot cage and I would like to have 10 birds in this cage. Can I have 2 males and 8 females without any problems? They are brown Cortinex with one female A&M.

Just wanted to give an update.....2 of the 6 hatched. The 4 that didn't hatch, didn't develop....almost like non-fertle eggs. So I am pleased that the humity didn't kill them.

I had my hum. spike to 95% over night on day 14 of my quail eggs....did they all drown?

They were laying when it was hot, now it's cooling off and they quit. My chickens have slowed but never stopped.

Courtnex (by the way, how do you pronounce that).....I have not given them oyster shell, they get the same layer feed as my chickens and they do not get oyster shell either.

I bought a couple adult female and 1 adult male quail a couple weeks ago and at first I was getting an egg a day sometimes 1 egg every other day. Starting on Friday last week I haven't gotten an egg since. Nothing has changed other than the nights are a little cooler (high 60's low 70's). Any...
