My lab gets along great with my birds, sometimes he feels the need to run through them when they're all in a group waiting for treats, but if I give him a bone and he is chewing it in the yard they'll come peck it with him.

I misread the part that said 15 months. I had thought it was weeks. I have never had a chicken do anything like this other than it was a young rooster trying to crow. And I see it is not a rooster, as pointed out. So Sorry for the mistake.
