had 3 hens of this breed and didn't know it until i found this sight! we had just called them game hens up till now but anyway.... beautiful breed and good layers as well as hardy. one of our hens brooded around 2 times in a year so they can be like that and moderate agression towards the others.

these guys tend to rule the roost once the become adults and do a good job of it. they are fair layers and are very hardy as well

cute funny little guys. we had to that we bought together full grown and they were just so fun to watch and not bad layers either!

overall a good chicken and if they keep themselves clean very pretty. but they can be prone to pick on the younger ones since they tend to be lower in the pecking order

very easy to take care of and do very well in hotter climates. they also tend to be less agressive then other breeds
