for a couple of years i did the $5.00 challange: every time i had a $5 bill, i took it ouf of my purse and tucked it away. It grew to around $700 before i used it for Christmas money.
Easy and you forget all about it whan its not there to spend.

My farmyard toulous goose and gander are both just about a year old and have decided to try another round of eggs.
Her first batch was a failure in march '12 - she laid over 10 eggs but had no clue what to do with them: one & off her nest, cold eggs and not one hatched out.
this time around...
One year old pair of bonded toulous geese. Healthy and not aggressive towards humans or other animals - but protective of her nest area. Female has only been laying a short while but nothing fertile yet. Pick up can be arranged in the Ithaca, Elmira, Waverly, Owego, NY areas. sorry no pics here...
i love it! i have a feeder i made kinda like this but i mounted it onto the side wall of my coop - it has lasted a year now and i was going to build another but will try this one instead. I think if i set it onto a pallet it will further keep mess up off the floor too.
