I don't know exactly but they look similar to mallards. Maybe a commercialized mallard breed. I live in Vancouver Canada so I don't see why they would go any further north.
Only predators we have are coyotes and Eagles. They have a nice run but usually fly off at night. They go hang out around the neighbourhood and come back in the morning. I am just suprised because all 4 birds that can fly very well up high and everything were all killed. It just doesn't add up...
Hi I was just wondering if ducks will leave your house to go lay eggs and hatch them. I don't think they were caught by predators because exactly 4 (2 pairs) are gone and spring is almost here. I just wanna know if ducks would leave home and go hatch babies elsewhere.
Does anyone know what breed this egg is.. 2 of them popped up in my coop and im not sure which chicken it is.

I have 6 ducks and I don't know what breed they are or their gender. I was hoping someone who is familiar with duck breeds can help me out.

No i dont think is anything of that sort because she stopped doing that. I did some more research and i figured it was a sour crop or impacted crop and i rubbed her crop to releive some pressure. I think she was doing that bcause it might of felt better in that position. It is night time now and...

they were in from a big farm that provaly just sells them all together bacause the auctioneer says the important info and there was no saying if it only being roosters i thikk this happ3ned because i decided to pick the biggest chicks not rendering the fact of them being different genders
