...that page ^^ I am much more likely to answer, as I only come on this forum once every now and then and will probably forget to check! I do not want to miss any messages!
************I am also up for trades for silkies, satins, showgirls, or laced bantam polish!! Trader must also be NPIP.
Not sure if you would be interested, but I may have some if you contact me on Facebook. :) I own BBS, partridge, and paint colors in silkies, satins, and showgirls. I have lots of pictures of my flock on there. I'm not sure where you are at either, but I am NPIP and can ship in the continental...
It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the buff and possibly the blue seem to be good. The others may be as well when they are in shape. There are a lot of minute details that can be looked at such as the type of crest, the wing shape, how tightly they hold the wing to their bodies, the shape...
I love my showgirls! :) I am a breeder of them in the USA (mainly I just have them to love them). Funny how I used to hate them. What changed?! I can't get enough of them now!
I've got silkies in partridge, paint, white, blue, and 2 light partridge/lavender mixes... $5 apiece. Local pickup only for now, as it's too hot to ship. :) I am NPIP.
Please send me an email at [email protected] to let me know if you're interested! I never see notifications on here...
Will the fecal test show the type of infection?
Here are a few pics. . . Forgot to mention some of their eyes are also watery. I noticed that the day before yesterday. One or two few look a little swollen...
So the injectable for cows and such are fine...? How do I go about doing that?
They were wormed about 3 months ago. My local vets refuse to do poultry... but I'll see I they'll just do a fecal test. What DO I ask them to test for?
So Tylan 50 inectable for cattle is fine...? How do I go about...
Hello all. If you could help me find some medication that will be easy to get my hands on without getting a prescription, please tell me. I've tried VetRx and herbs. . . And it got a bit better, but it isn't getting rid of it so far.
There isn't an avian vet close to me (grrr) and since all...
Hey there! I'm located in Loganville, Ga, and I have been looking everywhere for some bantam polish. I don't care about the colors. Mixes, honestly, are fine with me. I do prefer to get some frizzled chicks, but, honestly, I'm not picky. :) I just want some beautiful babies to add to my flock (I...
Anyone have any splash/blue hatching eggs? I live in Loganville, Ga. Looking for someone who can give me other people who have ordered from them or who are well known (credibility, ya know). Looking for bearded silkies close to SOP. Thanks!
Question. I have three beautiful paint hens and two black (NOT black split) hens. Could I therefore, breed a black split paint roo to all of them?
I know that black split paint and paint will give you deeper, bigger black spots. I'm just wondering what breeding him to my blacks would do??? Thanks!
Once I get a few babies from her (Im mixing her with a partridge... Any other suggestions?), I may take you up on that offer, lol! I go to Fl quite a bit!
Anyone know what a blue/cream/porcelain mixed with partridge will give me? I have a little girl that I was told as lavender... And now I'm thinking she isnt. I have two choices: cross her to my black roo or put her with my partridge. I like the partridge idea more.
This is my girl:
And my...
Hm... Thank you :) Only reason I say sizzle is because some of her feathers curl up. It's hard to see in the photos but up close and personal, it's very noticable. It's weird. Maybe it's a diluted sizzle? Is that possible? The lady I got her from had sizzles and frizzles as well as silkies
Thinking this is a girl, but I need to be 100% sure bc I want to get rid of her. She just seems... Scraggly. Anyway, I'm thinking it is a she. A lavender sizzle. Is this correct? She is roughly 4 months old and her name is Sage. She's suuuper shy for some reason. Thanks :)
Plus... Random...
I have $55 to spend on hatching eggs. I'm looking for a SQ splash, blue, and black mix. :) Anyone have any available? I can send money through PayPal. I live in Loganville, Ga. I would prefer to pick them up... But shipping of a short distance would also be okay. Thanks!

Ah, shucks. -_- Thank you for telling me! Funny, I've never had a problem. The animals have only tried to dig! But I'll save up to get... Something. I want my babies safe. Would something with bigger holes work over the chicken wire...? Maybe something that didn't go up all the way/only a safe...
Well, here's my coop. It's pretty big (the building is 6.5 x 8 and the run(s) are 12 x 15 and 8 x 5.5). We bought some supplies (the roof and some supports), but the doors and wood for the walls and nesting boxes were recycled. I actually picked up three truckloads of wood from a neighbor down...
