Hi there. We are building our coop..large one and it will be a lean too roof..one slope. Not peaked. So trying to think of how to do the ventilation spaces around the top. Any ideas? Please and thanku. Pictures are helpful.
I live in Canada and apparently the pressure treated wood here is different that the state's and can make the chickens sick. What kind of wood should I use for the coop walls and the posts in the run?
Hi there! So we are starting our build and I got some good size windows that slide open for free. However they are single pane side sliders..will that be warm enough in the winter? Could I cover with a strong clear plastic in winter? Or should I buy new Windows?

What is the best size hardware cloth to predator proof with? 1/4 inch or 1 inch? 1/4 inch does not come in 19 gauge.

How far apart should I space
4 x4 x8 cedar posts on run? I plan on at least a 20 x 10 foot run. 2 feet buried below ground with 1/4 inch hardware cloth being used.
