    VENTILATION IMAGES NEEDED!

    I live in Canada and apparently the pressure treated wood here is different that the state's and can make the chickens sick. What kind of wood should I use for the coop walls and the posts in the run?

    Hi there! So we are starting our build and I got some good size windows that slide open for free. However they are single pane side sliders..will that be warm enough in the winter? Could I cover with a strong clear plastic in winter? Or should I buy new Windows?

    What is the best size hardware cloth to predator proof with? 1/4 inch or 1 inch? 1/4 inch does not come in 19 gauge. I don't want ANYTHING to be able to get in.

    Post spacing in run

    How far apart should I space 4 x4 x8 cedar posts on run? I plan on at least a 20 x 10 foot run. 2 feet buried below ground with 1/4 inch hardware cloth being used.

    Coop Material

    Hi there. I live in Ontario Canada. It's hot in the summer..cold in the winter. We are going to be rebuilding an old shed and turning it into a coop for my first chickens. I don't have them yet.
