After my flock got wiped out. (Fox or some such creature) 5 good layers that we've had for 3 years. went out and got 9 $3 layers to reload the coop. They have turned out to be more like rescue birds than the plump girls we had. They kind of smell like chicken poop(way more than ours did)...
Has anyone used a remote wireless thermometer over a long distance? My coop is about 75 yds from the house. I'm looking to find a way to monitor the temp inside the coop at the house. all the remote indoor/outdoor i've tried don't have the range needed. any success out there?
