    Lost user due to speed

Cable? Your reply came up @ 1:28 pm EDT. I'll be interested to see when my response comes up as I am replying immediately. I'm using 3/4G technology. I can watch live sports & TV/movies. I can't even imagine that cable would be any better. But as I said, this site is like the old dial-up speed.

    Lost user due to speed

I am very, very disappointed that I can't be an everyday user since your upgrade. I love this forum! But it takes soooo long to load & respond that I'm too frustrated to continue. I usually connect via my Galaxy Epic 3G phone. Wasn't a problem before the upgrade and I loved learning &...

    to leave or take them?

I'm also interested as I have 3 eggs under a game hen that are due to hatch next Tuesday. Her nest is 3' off the ground & I'm afraid they'll be injured once they hatch. I'm thinking it would be best to take them as soon as all hatch, if they hatch, and move them to a brooder. Any advise?

    Nest on roof

My lovely hen has layed several eggs in different places around the yard. I've put them in the'bator. Now she's decided to lay & sit on a tin roof. No wind or rain protection & @ the mercy of the temperature fluctuation of the tin. What can I do? If I put up a ladder & give her straw, will she...

    Open-headed, premature duckling

http://priscillamchabal.shutterfly.com/pictures/9 Hope y'all can see this. Had a duck hatch under an OEG hen. Im not sure if it's premature or if it has been pecked by it's surrogate mama. It's not standing, but will drink electrolyte water when held. Do you think it's hear just hasn't closed...

    Great Danes Anyone?

I have bred, trained, shown GDs for 35 years. I'd be happy to help you. Firstly, there are tons of really slick websites out there. I would say if someone advertises Euro, run! If you know the dog's kennel name (such as mine is Coleridge), you can check at www.offa.org to actually verify if...

    Eggs every day now---Need Advise

I'm getting an egg/day, which means I have some 1+ yr-old girls laying. The 1st several I put under a crazy-broody OEG last week. Yesterday & today I've gotten two more & don't have anymore broodies. My mentor has told me it's almost impossible to 'bator hatch the eggs & he has 30 years...

Just brought out & sterilized my Genesis Hovabator. The yellow auto-turner came apart. I am having an impossible time reassembling the trays back into the frame. Anyone have advise for me?....Priscilla

When to incubate & how long?

Ok...I have a shared nest w more than 20 eggs. A hen is now sitting on it. I learned from here that hatchlings have a hard time making it naturally due to the chill from wet grass/bushes. If I take the eggs now, its been there for about a week until Mrs started sitting yesterday. If I take...

Incubating guinea eggs and chicken eggs together?

I always add a couple chix eggs (a week later). The chix are sort of "guide dogs" for the guineas learning to eat & drink.

    Broody Pekin

My pekin pair have been laying since I've gotten them several weeks ago. At first I collected eggs but couldn't sell them for more than $2/doz. So then I noticed that I had dropped a slake of hay & she created her nest & started laying there. Every a.m. she's there sitting on her eggs. During...
