    sometimes if they are raised together you wont have any trouble I know people who have lots of roosters together it just depend on there temperament I would just wait and see they may get along just fine

    We did that same thing except we were only gonna get 5 hens just for the girls to pick up eggs but then i found a rooster that i liked so we got him and then i went and got 14 chicks be cause i wanted some BO's then her decides he wanted a few more Marans hens so we got 3 more and a Marans...

    I have several Marans girls and a few of them are real friendly but two of them all same age won't have anything to do with anyone.However they lay the prettiest eggs. Now my Welsummer babies fly on your head, in your lap and follow you all over. very sweet

    I have heard that Brahmas are good mine are only five weeks old so not exactly sure yet but they are friendly little things.RIR are awesome layers and are sometimes broody hope this helps. Orps however are my fav.

    I had one do they last week I tried everything unfortunately it passed away on day 3 I thought it was getting better because it's energy had picked up a little and I got it to drink but it didn't help sorry I really hope you have better luck

    4 week old Wesummer

    I have never given mine sugar water just starter and the occasional moth that flies by lol but i do know when I moved mine out side in bigger brooder they seem to take off with there growing
