for all you call duck experts:
i have a snowy drake and a bibbed hen = offspring?
i also have a snowy drake and a gray hen= offspring?
i know nothing about the recessiveness of their parents (what hidden genes are there) as i bought the eggs from ebay. hatched 2 snowy drakes and 1 gray hen...
hey everyone,
hope all is going well. my young pullets (silver sebrights and mille fleur d'uccles) have 1 rooster per pen (both breeds are in separate pens). they have started laying eggs (snow today). i was wondering about the hatchability of pullet eggs. the egg shells are regular hardened...
well, one of my 6 geese eggs got a small crack in it. put clear finger nail polish on it to seal and put it back in the incubator.

is July/August too hot for getting shipped eggs to hatch?
does their "season" for laying end earlier?
i would like to get some more eggs to hatch, but i dont...
hey all, i just set 7 ringneck pheasant eggs in an incubator. they are too big for quail trays, but small for chicken trays. i'm wondering if they could "rock" in the individual spots too much when the automatic turner turns? 1st time for setting pheasant eggs here.
thanks for the replies,
