Looking for some insight! I have 2 splash hens and 2 white hens and with a Splash Roo. I'm not able to find a breeding chart that will show me what I'll hatch from the 2 white hens....I don't think more splash, and would appreciate insight...I'm only breeding the whites for fun. Thanks!
My last hatch I had some chicks turn eggs over that had already pipped and the chicks i n the eggs died.
Has anyone left the egg grate in during a hatch? I'm hoping that it will allow the eggs to remain stable and not be shifted everywhere...Thanks

I have one hen who has had large "mashy" stools for well over a week now - She's acting just fine, but I've separated her from the flock. I'm going to give her yogurt, some baby vitamins and see if that makes any difference. I have never wormed our girls and am considering doing that.....but...

Hey Gang - My broodies (2) - whose babes are 3 wks old are either pulling out or losing their feathers....I'd say this has been happening over the last week - the light brahma doesn't look too healthy these days - her waddles and comb are really pale - I've started letting them out to free range...
