I have a chicken maybe 2 pecking a hole in their eggs. They are not eating the eggs. I put mustard in the eggs and found one of my girls enjoying the egg. I have moved one of the girls I thought was doing the pecking into the garage in a cage and would still go out and find an egg pecked. I now...

I got 2 of these as barnevelder chicks but the 2 look different. And are they boys or girls. They were sold as pullets. The are approximately 5-6 weeks old. There are 5 pictures of one then there are 7 of the second. Thank your guys for taking the time.
I was wondering if anyone could give me a guess as to whether this is a cockerel or pullet? He/she is approx. 5 weeks old. His comb is redder some days and not so much others.
Hi all I have 2 chocolate orphingtons that are 9 weeks old and I can't tell if they will be hens or roosters. They look like hens to me because of the body shape but chick 1 feathered quicker and had more of a tail than chick 2 and still has a bit more of a tail than chick 2. Thank you for your...
Ok Here is an update on my specked sussex chicks. They are 7 weeks old and still can't decide if they are Hens or Roos. Would really appreciate you guys input. Thanks
Chick #1
Chick #2 has less white on the chest and the tail is not as long as chick #1. Though they feathered out the same.
I have a quick question. I have a very secure coop and run that is fully enclosed and is partially enclosed with the older chickens coop and run so that they can get to know each other before I let them all together. I was thinking about moving my chicks to the coop and run within the next few...
I Have 2 chocolate oprphington chicks that are 7 weeks old and trying to decide if they are pullets or cockerels. Would so love your help. The 1st one feathered out quicker than the second and seems to have a pullet shape and stance but her comb and wattles are slightly bigger and slightly pink...
I have another chick that I am unsure of and s ure hope that I can get some help sexing this chick. Because of its behavior I would say cockerel but at 7.5 weeks the comb hasn't changed or gotten any color and there are no wattles so far. What do you guys think?
This is a 7.5 week old olive egger chick that I am having a hard time trying to decide if it is a he or a she. Some days she is more aggressive and acts very much like a cockerel and other days not so much. She started out slower getting her tail feathers but in the last week has almost passed...
I have 2 speckled sussex chicks 5 weeks old in 2 days and was wondering if anyone can help with the sex of these guys.

This chick is 9 1/2 weeks old and I really think it is a cockerel. What do you guys think? It has the nicest personality and has the shape of a hen but coloring and comb development makes me think boy.
I have a question about any interaction with corid absorption. I started corid 3 days ago as one of my hens has been shedding intestinal lining. At first thought it was just that, shedding the intestinal lining, but have notice it several times in the last week or so. With that said started the...
I think all 3 of these are hens but not sure they are 6 weeks old.

I have a question about introducing new chickens into my existing flock. I have 5 new pullets that have been in quarantine for a month. They are 15 weeks old so feel that they are big enough to fend for themselves once they are together with the older girls. My question is I have penned up a...
