I feel your pain I hatched out 4 babies last weekend. I though I would EXPLODE waiting!!!

I'm going to grease combs and wattles as well. But I do have a heat lamp because my coop is a little drafty! I will also put new straw down on the floor just to add a little extra protection! It gets cold out there!! Poor babies!!

ok so I took him/her out and its NOT from a vein or anything. My mom and Dad both helped me. We put him in a cupcake holder as not wanting to touch him to much.( his name will be cupcake) So its were his ambilical cord was. I put some powder to help clot. I AM SO NERVOUS!! Thanks for the help...
