Building permit for a coop? I think round here you need to be over 100sqfeet or so for anything to need a permit. Way to go for checking it out and evenmore so for abiding by the rules!

Where did you find dyed chicks at these days? Seems to be a "thing from the past".. No way to remove the color, it will disappear as they grow and their feathers come in. Ussually the dying is not harmfull to the chick at all from what I understand. Enjoy the chicks and watch em a lot the...
Very interesting.. I just went and read the requirements. VA is great for finding ways to make you get permits, probably another income stream. Just another reason that I will leave this state someday, its slowing turning into New Jersey. Thx.
