Tuxedos should be noticeable at hatch there bellies/neck will be yellow down...sometimes its kinda splotchy more pied I suppose is the correct term...I'll see if I can find a pic of some mine as chicks;)

I would think you could expect some tuxedo.. I don't know enough about genetics to know what else could pop up besides the white and brown of course...;)

You got a 50% hatch rate from shipped eggs!? Be Happy that is a great hatch! As to loosing the others...well there is a learning curve if you are new to quail and even if not I always still loose a few each hatch that just fail to thrive. So with shipped eggs you can expect to loose some just...

I had two that had the greenish legs turned out to have white legs and beak. The breeder I got them from only had a and b lines from GFF.

Here's one of mine. Divided into 3 breeder pens 12x10 total. Based on the Purina coop plans...cost about $700. To build...the back of the coop has three large doors 4x4! To open for cleaning and the runs use the space under the coop as well.

Yup I forgot to mention that I do feed meal worms and some sprouts (alfalfa and clover etc.) And there is this stuff at TSC called farmers helper it a 32% maybe 36%? It has fish(animal proteins)in it. I mix this in with the flockraiser as well.. It claims to make their poop more firm and clean...
