Hello... This chick was supposed to be a Speckled Sussex. Obviously, she's not THAT. But I'm torn between Welsummer and Partridge Rock. The hatchery said P.R. but I bounce back and forth depending on what photo I happen to see online. Any thoughts?

I have one Buckeye... she's one of the four new pullets I got in July. Gosh, she's a bold one. Love her!

I'm heading to Meyer Hatchery in about a week to pick up three more chicks (an Australorp, Buckeye, and Sussex). Less than an hour drive (from Medina). Not as 'local' as you may want to go... but an option.

Actually just found one yesterday. I'm delivering him tomorrow. And it's a VERY good home where he won't be eaten! :)
