ah your silvers are our lilac I think. If I put a chocolate bibbed female in with the blue bibbed pair I should get some lilac bibbed babies.

I'm Australian so we're a little different than both of you. Although we're working towards you we aren't there yet. We don't have a standard to cover her other than general bibbed. Our silver has the same colouring as a Welsh Harlequin if that's helpful :)

Thank you. The UK has laced blue bibbed as a standard colour so I was wondering if that's what she was but I'm just happy to know what colour she is. I have a nice looking matching drake too so I guess next year I'll end up with some second-generation blue bibbed.

Got a pretty hen this year. I think she’s a laced blue bibbed. I’d love confirmation though as I’ve never actually seen a laced blue bibbed call. She is an Australian call so judge type based on that

Sadly that's what I thought. I'll keep looking maybe someone down here will come up with one...even if it's a platypus it'll still bring the gene to my flock.

So how do you get a self black and a self chocolate. I have the EE gene for extended black but it always shows up with the bibbed gene. If I keep breeding will it eventually show up without the bibbed gene? I'm in Australia so just buying a self black isn't an option.

This is a picture of the mystery colored duckling with her sister who is without a doubt a blue bibbed. Taking a picture of a pair of ducklings in your hand is kind of like herding cats LOL

I have blue bibbed out of the same hatching. This duckling in person looks lavender the same way the blue babies look blue/grey. That's why I thought she might be lavender. I've got silvers too (although not bibbed I didn't know they even came in bibbed) and she's not that color...I'll take a...

She loves to give kisses and whenever I hold her that's right where her foot sits so she can pop up to nibble on my when she feels like it. I'm worried she'll jump but she hasn't yet.

It's wrong how much I want her to stay baby fluff yellow. I'd love to have bred a whole new duck color.
