Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

grandparents on fathers side were blue fawn and silver. Mothers side were blue bibbed and black bibbed. Before that they were mixed flock on the fathers side so anythings possible.

Well, we all know those sneaky recessive genes can hide for many generations. With a couple hidden genes paternal grandparents could have had apricot silvers. And certainly the maternal side of black or blue bibbed drake, could produce a chocolate (brown) daughter, if they carried a chocolate gene. I'm sticking with lilac, could be bibbed or not, depending on genetics. Time will tell. I look forward to you sharing pics as this duckling grows and matures. Thanks for sharing.

This is a picture of the mystery colored duckling with her sister who is without a doubt a blue bibbed. Taking a picture of a pair of ducklings in your hand is kind of like herding cats LOL

Let me know if you are in Brisbane, QLD we can go out for coffee or something. Maybe hug a koala :)
I would love to. I was in Melbourne in 2013 and wanna go back to other parts of your country. I wanna see zebra finches in the wild, too. But I think they are an inland burd.

Oh my goodness. What a precious little child. Wow. Lucky you get to hold her.

Hi guys! It's been ages since I posted here, but I have some great news. I got my babies back!!

Wobbles and Bean are readjusting nicely back to indoor life. The entire time we were apart, I didn't feel complete. :/

Congratulations! I can imagine how hard it was!

WAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!! I cannot believe how beyond adorable Lacey and her fuzz kids are. In the last pic, note Lacey's very round little body and her orange webs in the grass. Then the babies. You holding the one and his little webs. And the two tinys in your hand. I am in love with all of them.
