Read your indentures yourself to see if they allow chickens. My Trustees tried to say they were not allowed and sued me however after 2 years they dropped the case because they were going to lose. My indentures used canned wording that is present in many basic indentures across the country.

I never wash. If they are dirty, even a little bit, I scramble them and feed it back to the chickens but honestly that is rare.
